MDM Construction LLC served as General Contractor for the interior renovation project. The work included complete demo of 2 adjoining areas and combining them into one. Renovation and remodeling commenced from there to convert this maintenance & shop area into a
business occupancy area. The project area was in the middle of the VA’s Basement level posing special obstacles for brining in new items,
accounting for the existing M.E.P routes & connections, as well as dumbwaiter infill.
The work includes demolition of existing building components, new wall construction, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, sprinklers, concrete,
medical gases, ceilings, concrete cutting, pit infills, flooring, and structural steel.
All work under this contract is considered especially sensitive to dust, dirt and noise as the adjacent space remains occupied and functioning during all phases of construction work. MDM Construction LLC is comprehensive of the VA’s desire to continue to provide services to its customers with minimal disruption.
