This project is an upgrade renovation the VA’s Regional Office where Veteran Services are handled and consultations are held. Work being performed will be a complete finish upgrade as well as security and code compliances. New HVAC, data, doors, concrete paths, entrances, and bathrooms will all be constructed. Interior renovations for all flooring, paints, wallcoverings, and ceiling will also be torn out and re-installed with new.
The building will remain occupied during the entirety of construction, so most activities are performed after or before normal working hours. This challenge is necessary to accommodate the Veterans and the services they receive in the building. Another challenge is replacing the quarry tile floor throughout all of the hallways. This require much coordination and excavation for surface prep and leveling to existing rooms.
